Christine is owner and founder of Skindevour. After noticing the visible signs of aging herself at the age of 47, she embarked on her first experience with cosmetic injections. She loved the impact of the small changes that made her feel fresher and ultimately better about herself.
Having spent more than 20 years working in the Corporate world as a senior Human Resources leader, Christine decided to follow a new passion and purpose and open a dermal and aesthetics clinic. She is passionate about helping people be the best version of themselves and believes this is the connecting factor between her role in HR and what she does now. People describe her strengths as building relationships, securing trust and keeping confidences
Christine’s passion for skin is palpable – she says “it’s like I’ve discovered a secret I don’t want to keep but instead share the benefits and have my clients feel the same joy it brings me”.
Over the past two years, Christine has learned a lot about an industry she really knew nothing about and is now studying towards completion of her Bachelor of Dermal Science.
Shona is a lifetime learner and describes herself on a lifetime journey, forever learning. Ever since she decided to enter the medical profession, and after completing her Bachelor of Nursing she has continued quenching her thirst for knowledge and has completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Nursing in Aged Care, a Paediatric Post Graduate Course, a Master of Nursing in Neonatal Intensive Care and has now taken her profession to new heights becoming a prominent Aesthetics Practitioner having completed Advanced Medical Skincare and Advanced Cosmetic Injecting.
Shona’s clients love her. This is what they say:
“Shona is a woman who is not only skilled at her craft but offers insight and information about all er treatments and procedures. She is one of the few specialist in her area where she wants a person to feel beautiful in their appears without overdoing any of the larger procedure. She will make you realise you are beautiful inside and out but if you desire a little bit of help that mother nature can’t give, will make you feel secure in yourself and in a way help you understand perfection is in some of the imperfections. She doesn’t advocate drastic change but suggests small improvements. I believe a person that walks in with a large … let’s say “beauty complex” can leave realising not much needs to be done to be “externally” altered to realise your own beauty and worth.”
“My sister and I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to see us today. It really means a lot to us and as you know we love your work and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. You’re the best!”
I am seeing amazing results. I am loving it. Still a little sore when I touch it but very happy – my neck has never been this good. Thank you so much”
I came in to get my lips done last week. My lips are not swollen or bruised anymore and they look great and I am really happy with the result. You are very good at all you do.”
“I have been texting a lot of different aestheticians and cosmetologists and most of them are very corporate and to the point but you were always so personal and kind and I immediately trusted you. Honestly it was your warmth!”
