Microdermabrasion
An easy way to think about microdermabrasion is like vacuuming your skin. Not as complicated or uncomfortable as it sounds, microdermabrasion is an exfoliation treatment to remove dead skin cells on the surface of the skin.
At Skindevour we use a Diamond Microdermabrasion system that has a diamond tip wand and a variable flow of vacuum suction. Contact with the skin is maintained whilst the diamond tips get to work by smoothing and buffing the skin’s surface. The suction encourages lymphatic drainage and removes expired skin cells.
It is a non-invasive treatment used to renew overall skin tone and texture and improves the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, acne scarring, melasma, and other skin-related concerns and conditions. Microdermabrasion is considered a safe procedure for most skin types and colors.
