Veins and Dilated Capillaries
Veins on the delicate skin of your face, neck and decolletage or unattractive discoloration on your legs are not part of the look we all want but something that generally increase in appearance as we age. They can commonly be found on the face and chest and can be caused by genetics, internal and external factors. These can have a significant impact on our self-confidence and lifestyle. They occur just beneath the skins surface when blood vessels are dilated or enlarged, the result is small red or purple lines spread in a web shaped form.
Our medical grade Lutronic Clarity II laser delivers fast and optimal results, is safe and effective treatment and is the fastest way to diminish these imperfections and even-out skin tone. Treatments are done at 6-weekaly intervals, however, some clients can see instant results from this walk-in and walk-out treatment.
The laser works by delivering a focused beam of light, that is absorbed into the red blood vessels. The beam directs intense heat to the damaged vessel creating energy, which either destroys the damaged vessel or causes the vessel walls to contract, so reducing redness and visibility of broken capillaries. The heat used in this procedure can cause the treatment area to be flushed immediately after treatment and may also have some residual heat which will dissipate over the following 24-48 hours.
The treatment of vascular conditions with the laser is very simple and is truly a “lunchtime” procedure and doesn’t even require a topical anesthetic. Not only is it fast, it is only mildly uncomfortable, making this the premium standard in broken capillary and spider vein corrective treatment.
We can treat a number of unwanted and unattractive skin conditions including:
Telangiectasia – spider veins on the face and legs caused by dilation of the capillary vessels.
Rosacea – red lesions around the nose and cheeks, similar in appearance to sunburn.
Spider Angiomas – red spider-like veins that are slightly raised in appearance.
Cherry Angiomas – red lesions that are slightly raised.
